The record low temp in Kentucky is -34F (-37C), recorded at Cynthiana in
1963. [Coincidentally, this is the lowest temp I have camped out in
also...brrrrr...northern Ontario 1985...brrrr....but you get used to
it... -61.6F (-52C) with the windchill factor taken into consideration].
The record high temp in Kentucky is 114F (46C), recorded at Greenburg in
1930. [My personal best is just 109F (43C)...Valence,
France....1993...whewwwww.....hot man....].
The average temp in Kentucky is 57F (14C). The average temp on the
surface of the Earth is about 59F (15C).
Thought you'd like to know that....
It is 61F (16C) here now, with just a little bit of snow remaining on the
mountains.....deep in gullies....but I can see it....
Keep cool....
Doug
