thanks for the good wishes everyone.  i think i've kicked it by now.  when
i know from the doc exactly what i had, i'll pass it on (the name, not the
disease).

was in madison, wi this weekend for the wedding of 92 thruhiker Optimistic
Chris.  unfortunately, i was the only one from the Katahdin Xpress that
could make it - other members were busy with newborn babies!  honeymoon
includes rafting on the arkansas river and backpacking in rocky mtn
national park.

will try to hook up with kevin snail-no-more this weekend on the john muir
trail.  he should be passing thru tuolumne meadows today.
