[at-l] Ed Garvey's New Book

Hi to all AT'ers.  Talked to some folks at Appalachian Outfitters today
about Ed Garvey and his long awaited new book.  It's at the publishers
and is expected any day.  Ed tried a second hike a couple of years ago
(he's nearly 80!) and just 'gave out' in New Hampshire.  He was getting
real thin and friends were really worried about him.  Looking forward to
the new book; its not a reissue of his first two (and they were great;
real standard setters for the genre).  Its more about his recent
experiences and thoughts about hiking in general (as I understand it).
