Sure, as long as you keep a decent pace. Your best bet would be to do a
flip-flop by starting at Springer, hike north and then about halfway, go
up to Katahdin and hike south so you'll avoid really cold yucky stuff up
north. Or you could just do a Southbound hike - most southbounders start
in May or June.
