Vapor Barrier Layer.  It's a liner you put in your sleeping bag that doesn't
allow water vapor to pass through.  When you crawl inside, the humidty level
rises to 100% inside of the VBL, but since it doesn't let any water vapor thru,
you don't have any water vapor in your loft of your bag.
