[at-l] First AT hike

Good thought Mike,

 My first time on the AT started at Fox Creek and went through Mt.
Rogers. It was early summer and we never saw another person. I had not
heard about the wild ponys and was amazed when I got up and saw them
around our camp. We even experienced one of the famous Mt. Rogers fogs, I
was hooked for life.
