Oh... one other thing. There is a little nub on the output end of the
filter so you CAN attach a hose if you want to. For example, the host from
a Platypus style drinking tube should fit just fine. You could also buy
some tubing from the hardware store... but if you're not using the direct
connect feature of the filter you might be better off with the PUR.
