[at-l] Why No Duct Tape?

I tried and tried to think of a reason for which Sandy might need duct
tape on the trail.  It might mend a boot or a pack in an emergency, but
not for very long.  I did see a lot of duct tape wrapped around water and
fuel bottles but never saw anyone actually use any so my explanation to
Sandy was that duct tape on the trail was a "guy thing."  Sorry guys!
