Neither would they be killed by encountering any number of behaviors
in the woods that are generally frowned upon (e.g., playing loud
music, using a shelter as a base for a beer party, etc.) The basic
wilderness ethic that I have come to accept is to minimize the
impact one has on the environment and to minimize the degree to which
*my* use of the wilderness infringes on other's use of the wilderness.
Personally, other's nudity wouldn't bother *me* in the slightest but
I can readily understand how it would make people with children or
women feel distinctly uncomfortable. Maybe it shouldn't be that way
but it IS that way...throwing on a pair of shorts doesn't seem like
too big of an imposition on your freedoms to me.
