To who may care:
In the Down vs synthetic discussion..thanks for everyones suggestion and
comments.

I chose an REI Nod POD 15+ bag..currently on-sale -on-line while supplies
last for $114..I was told they had 11 left.
It is a syn bag that uses Thinsulate, has a shoulder yoke, fits 6 ft giants,
weighs in at 2lb 14oz. stuff size is 8x18.

Me,myself,and I felt for the price, weight, material that this would be
great for packing in the SouthEast.
