David, Campmore sells a Gortex Parka called the Vagabond II for $99.99. Mine
weighs 15 oz. They also have pants for $69.99. My entire medium suit weighs
1.5 lbs. My son has used one since 1990 and it is still works. It is not a
deluxe rainsuit but it holds up well and it is lite.
Just another solution or problem.
Ralph
