Hi!

As this is my first posting to this list, a brief intro.  My name is
Teresa Beachy and I am interested in thru-hiking the AT in 98 along with
one of my friends.

Now for the purpose of my post.

I have never used the stuff while hiking, but my mother was very ill and
bedridden and in the hospital they used the stuff on her hair.  Only
using it once or twice made her hair less greasy, but it was nothing
like a genuine shampoo.  When she was home we never used it, despite how
much more convenient it was.  I can't imagine using the stuff long term.
