not another leki post!!!!
anyway, there are alot of leki poles for sale at sierra trading post. the
question i have for all you super makalu owners is:
can the poles be combined to form an avalanche probe?
other lekis can, and the s.t. catalog mentions the fact on some, but not on
the makalus. as a backcountry skier, i need this feature. my *old* lekis
are wearing out and at these prices i'll spring for a new pair; i'll even
get the rubber tips for hiking :). of course, they don't clank on snow!
