Peace brother,  I  understand both our arguments.  So you thru hiked in
96 you should be proud.  How long did it take?  How did it take to
re-adjust to the stressful modern life after trail?  Who knows some day
I may even use Lekis,  wooden ones.  Did you really make it all the way
without a blister?

I admire and respect your accomplishment (thru hike) and your opinions,
You've certainly earned it.
