[at-l] Best wishes for the '97 group

I just wanted to chime in and add a "Good luck" message to all those
leaving and hiking the AT this year. As other's have mentioned, those
who have been active on the two lists, as well as checking out info on
the various AT related web pages, are probably the best prepared of
any group setting out. Just keep in mind that you can have the
knowledge, but its how you use it that makes a difference. There will
be days of pure joy, and there will be times that you are cursing
every step you take. Situations will develop that can test you both
mentally and phsically in ways you never dreamed. And somehow,
through all the tough times, you'll reach a point where you can't wait
to put that pack on and see what's up ahead on the Trail. =20

May you all reach Katahdin or Springer with clear skies and dry boots.
Good luck and best wishes to all of you....
