[at-l] re: trail days

someone asked about trails days info.

you can call the town hall in damascus, they are big supporters.

or call 'damascus dave' (dave patrick) at mt. rogers outfitters
(703/475-5416).  he is responsible for scheduling all the events, booking
booth space, etc and will know what's going on when.  should be able to
tell you about camping etc.

there are no motels in damascus, have to go 10 miles west to abingdon.
there are one or two b&b's.  plenty of camping, tho you might want to find
out where quiet sites are where people actually sleep during the night!
(they do exist).

waven, as you know i plan on hiking in from hampton the week leading up to
traildays - if you're interested and can swing it, we'd love to have you
along (anyone else, for that matter).  i can't get you down from the dc
area, tho.  surely there are others coming?
