I'm so excited to start my thru-hike, I might just start walking to Springer
from here.
I'm so excited about buying gear for my thru-hike, it's beginning to rival
the cost of college - not that I could afford that either, but I went anyway.
I'm getting so excited to leave, my co-workers - well, actually our "clients"
at the homeless shelter - keep trying to sell me their bedrolls - after all,
they say, it gets cold out at night - and they should know!
If I don't leave for my thru-hike soon... well I am leaving relatively soon,
and I'd rather not ponder the consequences of not doing so. 8^)
It just struck me last night, as i was working the graveyard shift at the
Boulder homeless shelter, that soon *I'll* be the one carrying a bedroll and
sleeping in shelters...
The mental illness can't be far behind... :-)
