Are pack covers really needed on a Thru hike? The Dana pack cover that I
have weighs 13 ounces. I noted in an earlier post that I have an
airtight / waterproof Seal Coat stuff sack for my GTX down bag now. The
way I see it, the Terraplane OverKill is gonna get wet no matter what.
Do I shed the pack cover?
