I hope things have changed over five years. I bought a camera with the
total warranty also. Right out of the box there were troubles. I took the
camera back to the store. They sent it off for repair. Hey, I had it back
six months later, except it wasn't fixed. But they did fix it finally,
only took another four months. Because they said it was fixable they would
not replace it.
I don't frequent Ritz anymore. However, YMMV.
