Rusty asked not to be listed in the Handbook, so as to take some of the
pressure of the crowds off him during the height of the thru-hiker season.
Since I always clear everything about Rusty's (and all other private
"hostels" on the AT) with the owners before going to press, I was happy to
honor his request. And, it seems to have worked. He sent a nice letter
thanking me for my attention to his needs.--Wingfoot
