I don't know about the conditions on the trail and feasibilty. It does
sound like a good idea if you can carry extra water and wash up at
shelters/camp, even if just to rinse off muddy, exposed body parts. I
plan to carry a small pack of baby wipes and have them in my mail drops
to wash up, especially after long hiking days and after eating.
