[at-l] water bottles

I found that drilling a .25 inch diameter hole in the top of water bottles then
incerting a piece of 1/4 inch plastic tubing works well, except in the winter;
the tube freezes with water.

Get the tubing from hardware store. Run the tubing through loops in pack, over
your shoulder. Suck on when thirsty. Cost is about $3.00 plus drill bit and
drill of course. Head pressure is fairly low and it does not require that much
sucking to get a good drink.

You don't have to seal the hole and tube as the press fit does not allow much
leakage. One problem is that dirt often gets on the end of the tubes. But a
little dirt on the trail is apart of life.
