 to "yellow-blaze" (from the painted stripe in the middle of the road) is to
hitch-hike or drive around a section of trail, to 'cheat' on a
thru-hike......not to be confused with just hitching into town or peeing in
the snow. I wonder if Wingfoot's new book will have a trail-jargon section?
An appendix of trail lingo? to Yogi? col-gap-pass? summit-peak-knob? define
'steep', 'not far', 'a "little" rain', 'clean water'........maybe in vol
