 After being born and raised up Maine I am now 'lucky' enough to live in
Lawrence MA where New Balance shoes are made. They have a factory outlet
store in the Mill building which is right off Rte 495. Wide widths and
discounts on their Boots and sneakers if they're a little scuffed up. Don't
know of any other locations. Malden Mills is also located here, and have an
outlet that sells bolts of Polar-tec and clothing, too. A long way from
Penna. but worth stopping by if you're north of Boston heading toward ME or
NH. I'm taking the kids for sneakers on Sat morn, and I'll post something
