[at-l] RE:Rides

I stood outside a town in TN in a downpour with my thumb out watching cars
pass me by.  An old utility van HEADING THE OPPOSITE direction!, turned
around to give me a ride.  There were 6 Salvadoran migrant workers crammed
into this van and they went 5 miles out of their way to give me a ride.  I
had the feeling they knew what it felt like to be out in the rain trying to
hitch a ride.

Point?  Good people come in all models, and, yes, some are doctors and some
are lawyers and some are candlestick makers.
