[at-l] Beothuck

For those interested in the Algonquians of Virginia and North
Carolina (perhaps the AT crosses a related area), I received the
following book for Christmas:

A History and Ethnography of the Beothuck
	by Ingeborg Marshall
	McGill-Queen's University Press
	1996
	ISBN 0-7735-1390-6
	640 pages

Exhaustive bibliographical references and notes. Numerous
sketches and photographs. This then is the definitive work regarding the
extinct (1829) Beothucks of Newfoundland, possible relatives of the
Algonquians.

	Doug
