[at-l] snowshoes

On the subject of snowshoes:
Does anyone have any experience with the Redfeather models either Redtail
or Blackhawk? I weigh 130 lbs and want them for on and off trail
hiking/backpacking and for running/cross-training. The Redtails are for
lighter people ( under 160 lbs.), but i'm afraid that they won't do well
off the trail in deeper snow. Any advice?
Sorry if this is a little off the subject, but thought someone might be
able to share their expertise. :)
