Quite a few of us lost our jobs with NASA up here at Penn State. We had  a
space experiment with Russia and three shuttle expts. here in the US as
well as ground based research.  We were looking at the immune function in
rats after space flight. Even though I say it myself, we had some very good
data.

Then politics wiped out 5 of the 15 centers for space cell research across
the country and we were one of them. Never mind that some of the ones that
remained had never put an expt. in space...

Anyway,  at least I am off soft money.
