Breakfast bars and Quaker Quick Oats

Breakfast is the most difficult meal on the trail.  We usually just want to
wake up and get on the trail and therefore grab a breakfast bar.  In this
diverse group, is there one breakfast bar/or pop tart that you like above
another as far as nutrition.  We got pretty sick of instant oatmeal already,
too.  I have never yet tried just using Quaker's Quick Oats as I like them
with milk and I am lactose intolerant. I have milk digestant pills I can take
however that overcomes the intolerance for the most part, so would like to
know if anyone has used the Quick Oats and added powdered milk. Do you like
them pretty good, and how much powdered milk do you use with how many oats?
