i don't know how to get in touch with him, but i'm sure the ATC or ALDHA has
an address. i met him briefly on my 92 hike, and have seen him regularly at
trail days in damascus, and just saw him this past weekend at the gathering.
judging by the length of his beard, he thru-hiked this year!
thru-hikers don't drop off the face of the earth ... they're just at the
next shelter.
