Its hard to narrow it down to one. Thomas Knob in Mt. Rogers NRA is a
nice structure with incredible views. Bryant R. is a nice (if not
overdone) shelter in a wonderful setting. The Lesser S. in N. VA is nice.
Old Orchard is a great setting. But, with over views, structure, ambience
and friendships started, I'd have to go with Thomas Knob right now.
Favorite sections: Bradley's View in the Smokes, Grayson Highlands,
McAfee Knob, Blood Mtn.
Least favorite shelter: Lambert Meadow (Was overgrown and full of hoods
in the woods)
