Cameras on AT

Although I'd love to carry my everyday camera, Nikon FE-2,(I'll pack it for
a day, but a week? Too heavy, too many lenses) I think I'm going to be
limited to my new Minolta Freedom when thru-hiking. It's compact,
lightweight, integrated zoom. Downside: it's point and shoot. It prefers ISO
400 (or ISO 200 Royal Gold). I want to take slides on my trip. Photo buffs /
pros, any suggestions on slide film that would work in this situation? God
forbid, I don't think ISO 400 slide film exists, nor would I want any.
