I'm thinking of starting in Shenandoah National Park and going as far as I
can.  I don't know how her 'experience' will serve her, though I've done from
Shenandoah until someplace in Northern Pennsylvania, plus a good portion in
Maine (put in at Height of Land, worked until the Kathadin).  She's done
hiking before, but not for longer than a two-day hike, so I hope she'll be
able to cover a good distance.  Just looking to have fun.  ---Kristin
