I hiked from Georgia to Maine in the woods and never saw a rattlesnake. Last night I was out running right before total darkness and I spotted one on the road. I had to come back that way and I knew it would be totally dark on the way home and I was petrified it would be on my side and I would step on it. Isn't that ironic?
