Are you sure you want to do this Frank? The earlier post from Jim seemed
like an awfully good idea to me. Having 2 lists would seem to keep
either one from becoming official, and I don't see how one list could
ever contain all the info that we are talking about here. By having 2
lists we would be able to double check any info found on either one. For
example, If I knew Jim Owen only by his trail name and wanted to contact
him, but Jim didn't have his name listed on Wingfoot's list, I might
accidentaly call or write the wrong person, by having more than one list
we would be able to be a little more sure of who we were talking about
when more than one person has used the same trail name. Maybe the two of
you could even link to each other's list?

p.s. when we are talking about a list of trail names are we just talking
about thru-hiker's being on the list? A lot of section hikers and
weekenders take on or are given trail names as well.
