Re: [AT-L] Trail Names Project




I have not been reading this thread to carefully, so bear with me, 
but regarding the responsibility of maintaining a web site of used trail 
names, I don't think it has to be an awesome responsibility if you don't 
market it that way.  

Let's face it - there is no way you will get every single trail 
name registered there.  Rather than try to make it the beall and end all of 
trail names, I think if you view it as (and make it clear to others) 
just a service to help hikers see some of the names that are already 
taken, and maybe help people figure out who is hiking/ed in what years 
I don't think it is such a big deal.
