Aunt Jemima and I made it this year in a Eureka Skylight, purchased at their
outlet, so it was a little cheaper than normal.

-about 4.5#
-freestanding (extra bonus when you want to set it up in a shelter!)
-lots of mesh, so it's great in dry warm weather and for starry nights

As for rock climbing right on the trail, the St. Johns Cliffs of CT are a
practice area for many climbers, and you go right by them on your way down to
theHousatonic. We saw a group from highschool when we passed. It's near a
road, so if you knew people in the area, they could meet you with your climbing
gear.
