JOURNALS FOR '97

I'm planning on being a member of the class of '97
so long as my leave of absence for next March stays
firm.  I've stumbled upon some good luck recently in
that a close friend, who is rather a computer techno
snob, has offered to equip me with the hardware to put
my hike on-line should I desire.  He's basically willing
to outfit me with a portable with the possibility of it
having satellite upload capabilities.  He will also do
the layout for my web page and take care of all the
technical aspects of getting this info posted.  I've just
got to decide if I can handle the extra weight or not.

I challenged him to outfit me for under
6 lbs and I would sign up to do it.

So, we'll see how it goes....
