Coleman also makes a mini-lantern that fits the small propane bottles. It
doesn't use a standard mantle, but has a metal perforated affair that
looks very sturdy. Don't remember if it has a regulator built in or not. 
I have a standard propane head for the propane bottles and works very 
well. I can get a nice low-level light consistently.

Last time I saw one of the mini-lanterns was at a Target store.
