N Departure Dates
Catherine, I plan to leave around the 1st of March. I realize I'll run into
some snow and maybe even have to "lay over" for a few days. I guess I feel
if I leave as early as possible I have built some flexibility into my
schedule. Also, I'm hoping that the majority of hikers will be leaving a few
weeks later and the trail won't be so crowded. From what I've heard it's
pretty crowded even around March 1.
