Gutsy
Still haven't received an update from Dan, but Gutsy called me bright and
early today from Tyro, Va. She said she was doing great and enjoyed her
"chat" in the BP chatroom Monday night. There were about 18 people in the
room (Frank Logue's chat) at the peak. I think some of you on this list were
in there too. She says to thank you for joining her.
If you are sending her mail, her next mail drop will be Harper's Ferry. She
doesn't plan on picking up mail until then. She has had to hitchhike to post
offices and doesn't like doing that. Her husband, Dan, will be joining her
to hike in Shenandoah N.P.
Gutsy told me that she has hit 800 miles! She is very excited about getting
to the 1/2 way point. I think that's White Rocks in Pa., but that was a few
years ago. With all the trail relos, maybe it's Duncannon now. I bet someone
out there could answer this.
That's about all I have to report. Like you all, I await Dan's update of
Gutsy's journal.
