 Tents are great for escaping bugs and for privacy. Shelters are great for
escaping rain, cooking and meeting people. I hike alone and stay mostly in
shelters. Even the boy scouts amuse me.

I hate more than anything waking up in a tent ready to hike and it's raining.
packing a wet tent sucks.
