I can give you some action! Come on over and you can dehydrate all my food
for our '96 hikes! Then you'll have some dehydrator know-how! Hands on is
best, ya know.

I have an American Harvester bought at a discount store. It has four trays.
It came with one of those solid tray inserts things that you can make fruit
rollups on. I bought another package of 2 of those as fruit rollups are a
favorite of mine. The instructions for making these are usually included
with the dehydrator.

I don't know much about the differences in dehydrators. I don't think there
really are any except maybe capacity. You can also dry meat for jerky in
your oven at it's lowest temperature. I have done this once or twice before
I had the dehydrator. I prefer the dehydrator though. I think mine cost
about $40-45, plus the extras.
