I would highly recommend getting a copy of the Appalachian Mountain Guide for
New Hampshire and Mass.  You can purchace these books at EMS, the Natick 
or Boston stores are probably the closest to Wellesley.  If you have a Web
Browser, I suggest looking at the AMC HomePage.  Their URL is:

This page is an excellent resource for information regarding the White Mountains,
and all the AMC matained trails, including the AT.
