I kinda feel obligated to jump in here on the whole southbound thing, being
a southbounder and all. As soon as we put the finishing touches on this
research grant and my advisor stops stressing out, I'll try to say a few
words about my N-->S experience.
I do think that Jim Owen's "reality" comments were right on the money,
northbound or southbound. The 10% completion rate is probably right for
southbounders too, although the sample size would be smaller.
