Hello fellow backpackers, 
        I just bought myself some Merrell Rangers basically without any
knowledge of boots.  They felt great and they cost $125 (the price I was
looking for) and since I've heard they're good boots I just bought them.  I
was wondering if anybody out there has ever tried a pair or heard more stuff
about them than I have and would like to tell me a little bit more about the
boots I purchased.  Thanks a lot.
