I bought some Ultrex brand stuff a few years ago through Sierra Trading
Post catalog.  It's a Gore-Tex imitiation without the Gore-Tex price.  I
love it.  It has lasted many a rainy hike in the Whites, and I even wear
it layered when I ski.  I'm not even sure if they make it anymore, but
it's worth searching for.
