You know, there is a team of archaeologists in mesoamerica who are on
bicycles being directed through the Internet by various elementary
classrooms around the world. They report back findings over their
laptops and send pictures, etc. (Results are more thouroghly analyzed
by experts, also involved and on-line).
I suppose it is only a matter of time before we can all "virtually hike"
the AT - and no! I don't want to get into the technology on the trail
thread again!!
