HIKING/FISHING
This is my first post to the group although I have been a member for a few
weeks now. I was just wondering if others on the list ever flyfished during
their hikes? I know that for a through hiker to carry a flyrod and gear
would be crazy but what about the overnighters or weekenders? I started out
as a hiker which led to my love of flyfishing. I, as often as I can,
combine the two activities into a joint weekend. Does anyone else share the
enjoyment of these two activities. I do not mean to upset any die hards who
feel that the trails are ment for hiking only I am just curious as to other
opinions.
