GA: Hightower Bald Area info
Well, I see the list has been restarted...
Has anyone made the hike from the AT, near Bly Gap, to Hightower Bald?
Doing some research and hiking for the GA Conservancy and wanted to
compare notes. Three of us did a southern approach to the bald last
weekend and it completely wore us out. Rumor has it that you can reach it
from the AT along a ridge...but that side of the bald is very steep.
Glad the list is back.
